  From 2015-2019, OEE ran three 25-participant cohorts of a year-long Executive Leadership Forum for the Royal Commission on Yanbu, consisting of 10.5 days of instruction and 18 days of assessment and coaching.

  Participants completed two rounds of 360-degree feedback as well as other assessments to measure their growth, and presented their team assignments to the executive committee.

  Modules included:

  • Effective Leadership (Communication Skills and Social Intelligence, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Change Management and Agile Leadership)
  • Operational Excellence (Project Management, Finance for Executives, Negotiation Skills)
• Discovery Leadership Program — First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Abu Dhabi, UAE and Cairo, Egypt

  Since 2018, OEE has trained nearly 200 employees through seven batches of the Discovery Leadership Program for FAB, which developed the following skills: Self Management for Personal Effectiveness, Team Leadership to Increase Departmental Effectiveness, and Business Management Leading to Organizational Excellence.

  Participants underwent two one-on-one coaching sessions, completed an assignment, and attended 6.5 days of instruction:

  • Optimizing Relationships: 21st Century Leadership
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving

• Economics Professional Development Program — Department of Finance, Abu Dhabi, UAE

  Economics Professional Development Program — Department of Finance, Abu Dhabi, UAE

  Through the Economics Professional Development Program, 11 Emirati nationals from across the UAE government underwent a rigorous 18-month foundational economics program during 2014-2016. This program, sponsored by the Department of Finance in conjunction with the GSEC Center of Excellence, developed participants' economic policy analytics capacity.

  The program consisted of 10.5-day modules, tutorial sessions between the modules, and comprehensive exams. Topics covered included:

  • Statistics
  • Econometrics
  • Money and Banking
  • Energy and Development Economics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics
