Valeriia is an instructor of Social Science. Her research interest centers around social policy, inter-organizational collaboration in the social sector, and combating family and gendered violence. She holds BA and MA degrees in International Relations and Baltic and Nordic Studies and a PhD degree in Social Policy Research. During her PhD, she was an intern at Domestic Violence NSW (Sydney) as a part of the team working on policy submissions for the Government of New South Wales. She has also completed the Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program in Social Policy and intersectoral collaboration at Wroclaw University. Following her MA degree, she has also had two years of government sector experience, including her experience working on collaborative projects of the St.Petersburg Government and the Nordic Council of Ministers in the sphere of cultural management and development of creative industries.
