Ömer F. Örsün (Phd, 2015, Koç University) is an Instructor of Social Science at New York University Abu Dhabi. Before New York University, he held pre-doctoral (2013-2014) and postdoctoral fellowships (2016-2017) at Harvard University Department of Government and Harvard Institute of Quantitative Social Science. He also held a position of Assistant Professor of International Politics (2016-2019) at Istanbul University, where he taught empirical and theoretical models in international relations.
His research interests include international security, game theory, and machine learning. His recent research appeared in International Interactions, Democratization, Oxford Research Encyclopedia as various book chapters.
