Rahma Abdulkadir (PhD) is an Assistant Professor of Political Science in the Division of Social Sciences at New York University Abu Dhabi. Dr. Abdulkadir’s research interests are in comparative politics and peace and conflict studies with a specialization in experimental methodology. Her ongoing research focuses on projects that explore transitional justice in areas of failed statehood and barriers to gender equality in Africa. She has also worked extensively on the 1990s shifts in Canadian immigration policy.
