Krishnamurthi Ravishankar is a mathematician working in the area of probability theory. His research focuses on Interacting particle systems and stochastic processes. He is one of the originators of the Brownian web and has recently introduced the stable web. He and his collaborators have introduced a new approach to the study of hydrodynamic limits of interacting particle systems in a series of papers. He is a recipient of NSF ROA grants and Simons collaboration grant.
