Ibrahim Chehade received his M.Sc. in Integrative Biology, at Wilfrid Laurier University (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada) in the field of Environmental Toxicology and Endocrinology. He currently serves as an Instructor of Biology at NYUAD. Ibrahim also holds a Project Management Professional certificate. His goal at NYUAD is to encourage his students to use collaborative problem-solving to integrate and understand complex issues from multiple disciplinary perspectives and using this form of integration to explore scientific theories and research practices.
Ibrahim serves as a researcher in the Biology Department with the focus on therapeutics for cancer and amyloid diseases. He is also appointed as a secondary principal investigator with NYUAD's iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) with the focus of integrating the fields of Synthetic Biology and Engineering.
