Pierre is a software developer and political scientist. After his Masters in Media Studies at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Lille (France), he completed a graduate program in Game Design at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He has taught both theoretical and technical courses at NYU Tisch, CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and the Williamsburg Charter High School, and has worked at the MoMA PS1, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Natural History.
His research interests include the semiology of software development, the use of both virtual and augmented realities in both fiction and non-fiction, as well as the design and development of software tools for political organization.
