Green Grants

The Office of Sustainability at NYU New York offers grant programs to support creative projects and innovative ideas that advance sustainability across all NYU campuses, including NYU Abu Dhabi. 

Funding

Microgrants (up to USD 3,000)

Microgrants support smaller-scale sustainability projects. They are intended for pilot ideas, short-term or self-contained initiatives, or projects that can later be developed into full Green Grant proposals.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with decisions typically provided within two weeks.

Green Grants (up to USD 20,000)

Green Grants fund larger, more impactful, and innovative projects that demonstrate strong feasibility and potential for long-term institutionalization or self-sustainability. 

Applications are reviewed by the Green Grants Committee and are accepted on a semesterly basis.
