New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a Student Mobility Coordinator reporting to the Head of Study Abroad and Global Student Mobility.
The Student Mobility Coordinator will support the procurement of NYUAD-sponsored home travel and UAE visas for all NYUAD students for fall, spring, J-Term, and summer on- and off-boarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Enters and tracks data for preferred routings during each travel cycle
Populates student travel data for ticketing request lists for Nirvana Travel
Enters and maintains student flight records in the travel database
Monitors flight schedule changes and updates database as needed
Organizes ground transportation requirements based on flight schedules
Monitors the student mobility email alias and replies to student emails on a daily basis
Coordinates with relevant departments during student on- and off-boarding periods to support student arrival and departure process
Updates web-based resources for Student Travel Policy and other relevant information
Monitors and reports on international travel restrictions as relevant to mobility cycles
Supports the tracking and communications related to the procurement of UAE visas for students
Supports collection of statistical data for departmental reporting as needed
Provides support for new programs and initiatives as assigned
May have to work some weekends and evenings when students are traveling to or from their NYUAD-sponsored academic programs

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Advanced-level skills with Microsoft Office suite, Google Applications, Qualtrix, web applications, and CMS management
Excellent attention to detail and consistent accuracy
Excellent analytical and statistical skills
Excellent record-keeping and data management skills
Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects on tight deadlines
Experience working in an academic setting and with college students highly desirable
Professional maturity and judgment, including exceptional discretion and a capacity for resourceful initiative in a team context
