New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint an Administration Manager reporting to the Director of Community Engagement.
Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Office of Community Engagement processes and projects. Manages and administers tasks through close interaction with the director, the overall projects dashboard. Engagement projects and tasks include, but are not limited to: Supporting the Strategic Planning for Internal Community Engagement (SPICE) bimonthly meeting; scheduling and organizing meetings and events, supporting the development and implementation of the Roadmap Engagement Design and Student Embassy Ambassador (SEAL) program COVID pivot; managing the social media and newsletter; managing forms and policy/guidelines, as well as managing and processing budget and procurement, and the office internship program.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor Projects Dashboard (Status Report) on a weekly basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing it for consistency and taking corrective action as necessary
Develop and track projects high-level timelines and sequencing based on his/her interaction with director and project managers
Guides and performs analysis of resource utilization and workload allocation based on project demands and priorities
Manages and enforces procedures and archiving necessary reports and forms for overall project tracking.
Schedule appointments, maintain individual and/or department calendar and makes arrangements for meetings
Systemized and/or automate data flow systems from organizing folders/upkeep to email
Assist with the prioritization of office activities and delegate to and monitor work of employees
Maintain inventory of general office supplies
Perform other administrative duties: print and scan materials, process forms, maintain office files and records.
Manages the office social media platforms to include Instagram, facebook, twitter, the Maramis newsletter, as well as find new ways to engage
Support and assist on the Roadmap Engagement Design program from development of tools to implementation and exchange with other engagement stakeholders
Support and assist in the Student Embassy Ambassador Liaison (SEAL) project to move forward collaboration and programs that further promote NYUAD and exchange, as well as document such exchanges
Further develops tools for the office, like presentations and manages and streamlines engagement folders, documents and tracking
Training and Supervises interns and other support staff
UAE history, stakeholder and event research that provide better advisory for ongoing programs and engagement
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with engagement culture
Working knowledge of Arabic
Required Experience:
Experience with relationship cultivation preferred
University experience preferred
Development of training modules/programs
Implementing campaign strategy
Track record of implemented programs
High acuity for problem solving
Minimum of two-year experience of working with developing team
High autonomous work ethic
Strong ability to prioritize and complete task list

Familiar with a variety of project management concepts, practices, and procedures
