NYU Abu Dhabi Lecture Series in Abu Dhabi and New York City
The series is co-sponsored by the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management.
Curated by Anthony Shorris
When NYU was established at Washington Square, New York was the new world. Now it is a mature city, and Abu Dhabi, a youthful, growing metropolis, is the new world. However different, the cities face common challenges that this series will explore. Underscoring the twin focus, the speakers will deliver talks in both New York and Abu Dhabi and address the circumstances in each city.
For more information on the Abu Dhabi event counterparts, see the Abu Dhabi Event Calendar.
Anthony Shorris is Professor of Practice at the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and serves as Director of the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management. Before joining NYU, he was Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
