In his first retrospective exhibition of photographs, Cairo-based photographer Yasser Alwan features images from Egypt as well as those from his travels throughout the Middle East and North Africa for the last 25 years. He focuses on the common and the quotidian; on ordinary people going about their daily lives in a world that has been steadily decaying around them until recently... when, Alwan observes, they discovered that their collective strength lies in their individual weakness.
