The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Spectroscopy Core Technology Platform hosts a variety of research-grade analytical instruments that perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemical compounds based on the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter. Chemists, biologists, engineers and researchers from other disciplines pursue utilize this CTP.

This suite of equipment includes a high-powered Bruker Advance - III 600 MHz NMR that can analyze a range of materials from small organic molecules, to mid-sized peptides, to large proteins of several tens of kDa in molecular weight. NMR nuclear spectroscopy complements other structural and analytical techniques such as X-ray, crystallography and mass spectrometry.
