The Fly Room is a feature film that recreates Thomas Hunt Morgan’s Columbia University Lab, where the basic laws that govern heritability and the passing of traits were discovered — work that formed the foundation of the genetic discoveries that continue today. In this lecture, NYUAD Visiting Professor and writer-director of The Fly Room Alexis Gambis will share highlights of the film as well as behind-the-scenes interviews.
