Open to the Public

Location NYUAD Downtown Campus, Abu Dhabi

Reem Al Ghaith works in varied media, including graphic design, installation, and photography. Since her first exhibition in 2006, Al Ghaith has garnered international attention, with exhibitions in Europe, Asia, the US, and her native United Arab Emirates (UAE). Most recently she was featured in a major survey at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, in the 54th Venice Biennale, and in the Sharjah Biennial 9 (UAE). The photographs in her "Held Back" series explore tensions between past and future landscapes in her home city of Dubai.
