Exhibition Andrew Moore: The Urban Landscape of Abu Dhabi

Open to the Public

Location 19 Washington Square North

Abu Dhabi's urban landscape is rapidly changing as the city redefines itself as a global center. Andrew Moore's photographs of Abu Dhabi in 2008-09 capture the city at a moment as the early low-rise buildings of the 1970s are being demolished and soaring glass buildings replace them. He documents the multilayered urban fabric, its vernacular patterns, and colorful streetscapes which create a distinctive sense of place.

Andrew Moore is an accomplished photographer of urban environments. He has published catalogues on the architecture of Russia, Cuba, and New York and his photographs are in public collections across the United States.
