Deanna Kosaraju, Keynote Speaker

Deanna Kosaraju is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. Prior to this, Deanna was Vice President of Programs for six years, in charge of running the Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing. Deanna is also the conference founder for the Grace Hopper Celebration in India, which launched the Anita Borg Institute as an international NGO. Deanna and the program team at Anita Borg, have partnered with IIE and the U.S. State Department to bring 38 women from the MENA region to Silicon Valley for mentoring in the Spring/Summer 2011 and 2012. TechWomen was created in response to President Obama's Cairo speech in 2009 and IIE and ABI were hand selected by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to implement this program. (USA)
