What is Parent Marhaba?

Orientation at NYUAD, called Marhaba (which means "welcome" in Arabic), is an introduction to NYU Abu Dhabi. Parent Marhaba is designed for parents/guardians of entering first-year students.

Why Join Parent Marhaba?

Parent marhaba

During Parent Marhaba we offer a range of sessions and activities to inform parents about what their scholar’s life and education will be like for the next four years. Parent Marhaba will include tours of the NYUAD campus, conversations with senior leadership and faculty, as well as opportunities to explore Abu Dhabi.

Parent Marhaba is completely optional and space is limited. Costs associated with participation, including travel and accommodation, are the responsibility of the participants. Only participants who have registered for Parent Marhaba by the deadline and have received confirmation of their registration will be eligible to attend.
