Sofiane Bouarroudj’s research interests include Representation Theory and Mathematical Physics. An expert in the theory of modular Lie superalgebras, he recently discovered (joint work with Grozman and Leites) new simple modular Lie superalgebras, both serial and exceptional. Bouarroudj held several postdoctoral positions in Belgium, France, Italy and Japan. He joined NYUAD in 2012.
