Silviu Matei is a marketing and opinion research professional.
With a PhD in political science from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, he started his career doing electoral and political behaviour research for parties and leaders in Romania.
He then moved his focus on marketing research, advising clients of TNS Kantar and, more recently, of YouGov. He worked across geographies (Europe, MENA, South Asia), methodologies (face-to-face, telephonic, online, mobile) and industry sectors. More recently, he focused on finance, telecoms and fintech clients across the Middle East and Africa.
Some of the topics Silviu is very passionate about are product innovation and design thinking, behavioural change and social marketing, blockchains and the implications for the social contract.
