Matteo Marciano is a New York City based record producer, mixer, engineer, composer, and educator, originally from Rome. He is Assistant Professor of Practice of Music Technology at NYU Abu Dhabi. His work can be heard in movies, television and albums including the triple platinum single “Cups” with Anna Kendrick. Other credits include work for artists Idina Menzel, Lang Lang, 2Cellos, Chetty, Jacopo Volpe, Astral Weeks ,and films such as Frozen, Fifty Shades of Grey, Pitch Perfect, John Wick, Despicable Me 2, Turbo, Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Duff, and many others.
He also currently holds the position of associate professor at LUISS University in Rome where he has developed and created the Music Production and Engineering Course for the Master of Music. Along with that, Matteo has worked as an adjunct professor at The Institute of Audio Research in New York City where he hosted a series of in depth lectures and labs on advanced mixing techniques at the Technology of Mixing course. Matteo holds a B.B.A. in Business Administration Bachelor from L.U.M.S.A. University in Rome and due his incredible passion for music he received his M.M.B. Master Degree in Music Business from LUISS Business University of Rome. He holds a Pro Tools HD Certificate and an Audio Engineering diploma.
He hold a Licensed Private Career School Teacher Certificate from The State Education Department from University of The State of New York. In addition to maintaining an intense international career as a mixer and educator, he works as composer for Music Publishing companies, TV shows and commercials. With his immense passion for music, Matteo is dedicated to bring all his experience and audio engineering knowledge to his classes, helping his students to achieve their education and career goals for a brilliant future in the music entertainment.
