Dr. Çelik Fuss holds a Masters in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey and a PhD in Genetics from University of Cologne, Germany. After her post-doctoral studies at NYU Department of Biology she joined Bogazici University as a faculty in 2007. The research of Dr. Çelik Fuss focuses on the differentation of sensory neurons in the visual and olfactory system of Drosophila. Additionally, her group is involved in modeling neurological diseases in flies.
