Biography

Amos Ezra Katz is a physician and filmmaker whose interests include visual storytelling, photography, cinematography, screenwriting, and directing. His teaching interests focus on bringing the power of storytelling and independent film to beginning filmmakers and to locations in the world that are developing film industries and their craft. At NYUAD, he manages academic support and instruction in the Arts Center, and teaches 'Episodic Storytelling,' 'Writing the Short Screenplay,' and 'Cinematography: Art & Craft.'

More Information

He is the Faculty Advisor for the Cimema Paradiso, a Student Intrest Group and teaches photography workshops through the Office of Social Responsibility for NYUAD staff.
