  1. The Summer Scholars Program (SSP) is an eight-week distance-learning program designed to provide continuity for students working on academic writing, critical thinking skills, and English language acquisition.The program relies on a collaborative relationship between the SSP scholar (student) and the SSP mentor (GAF) to create an individualized, flexible course of study that has students reading a selection of texts, integrating oral and written exercises, and culminating in two assignments at the four-week and eight-week marks.

  3. Long Night Against Procrastination
    A semiannual event that offers students of all years a space for writing. Writing fellows and librarians are present to support students with writing support and research questions.

  5. NYUAD Writing Studies Working Group
    The NYUAD Writing Studies Working Group will be meeting April 12 and 13th for a discussion of multilingual student writing across the disciplines and across the four years of our students’ college experience.

  6. Capstone Writing Boot Camp
    The last Capstone Writing Boot Camp of the semester offers structured writing time, check-ins, review sessions with writing fellows, and research support from a librarian. Snacks and moral support provided.
    Dates: April 7-8, 2016
    Time: 1:30-5:30pm

  7. Robin Hemley, Director of the Yale-NUS Writing Program, visits the Writing Program for a series of readings and conversations.
