Financial Support Process
We realize that a college education is a significant investment, and we are committed to attracting and educating exceptionally talented students from around the world. NYU Abu Dhabi will provide financial support in the form of scholarships and grants. Every admitted student will be automatically considered for merit-based scholarships.
All applicants who wish to receive need-based financial support must complete and submit either the International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA) or the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE application (see Applying for Financial Support) by the preferred deadline. NYU Abu Dhabi accepts either application for financial support for all students, regardless of citizenship. Please do not submit both forms.
The Early Decision Financial Aid Application found on the NYU Undergraduate Admissions web site is not a form that is being used by NYU Abu Dhabi to calculate financial support. Please do not submit this form.
Applicants should not wait to be admitted to apply for financial support. Costs associated with completing and submitting the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE application will be covered by NYU Abu Dhabi. We will provide fee waiver codes for those students who have submitted an Early or Regular Decision application for admission as we receive their completed applications. There is no charge for submitting the ISFAA.
Need-Blind Admissions
NYU Abu Dhabi will be “need-blind”; that is, admissions decisions will be made without knowledge of a student’s level of financial need.
Individualized Attention
NYU Abu Dhabi will work individually with students to assess their family financial circumstances and will issue notification of financial support, including merit scholarships, in time for students to decide which college or university to attend.
Activities and Opportunities
To make sure that students are able to enjoy the full range of what an NYU Abu Dhabi education has to offer, financial support will apply not only to the full cost of an NYU Abu Dhabi education, including tuition, foreign travel and study integral to a student’s academic program, room and board, and two trips to and from home each year, but also to books and many student life activities.
