We welcome you to resubmit your nomination text — in part or as a whole — as a recommendation for your nominee with his or her application, so please save your work!
Nominations must be submitted by the following deadlines:
- May 10, 2012
- October 1, 2012
- December 1, 2012
Please note that the nomination must be received in advance of the student's application.
Nominated students must submit a complete application for admission by the deadlines below:
- Early Decision I Admission: November 1, 2012
- Early Decision II Admission: January 1, 2013
- Regular Decision Admission: January 1, 2013
Student Writing Assignment
In 500 words or fewer (one page single-spaced), please describe a research project that you might undertake as an NYU Abu Dhabi student to gain a deeper understanding of one particular topic of interest to you in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Please use the information at the UAE Interact website (http://www.uaeinteract.com/) for ideas. Pose a research question (in one sentence) and describe how you would gather information to answer your question. Discuss possible obstacles that might arise in your research as well as any ethical dimensions of the research to which you would need to be attentive.
