Wherever you are in the research process, we are here to help. Whether you need to select a topic, refine your topic, find more resources on your topic, or need to improve your research skills, the library is the place to be.
- We are available to help you via email, phone, and in-person. You can drop by our Information Desk or schedule an appointment with one of our librarians.
- We offer group courses on using library resources and can tailor sessions to particular course assignments. Stay tuned for a list of upcoming classes.
- Our website contains many research guides to help you identify useful resources in a given subject area.
- For quick questions, check out our Quick Reference Guide.
- NYU New York subject librarians are also available via email or chat for specialized reference help. Subject librarians have expertise in particular subjects corresponding to NYUNY departments and majors. They are responsible for purchasing library materials, providing reference help and consultations, and instructing students (both formally and informally) in the research tools and methods of the discipline.
