Library Liaison Program
The library liaison program aims to foster communication and collaboration between librarians and faculty. Librarians will work with faculty members to develop strong collections in their respective disciplines, to inform faculty of library resources and services related to their research areas, and teach tailored research sessions upon request.
Services that the library liaison program can provide for you
- Accept your purchase recommendations for library materials to help with your research
- Teach library orientation and instruction sessions to your students
- Assist with the addition of your course materials, e-reserves, and other library materials to Blackboard
- Develop tutorials for students
- Utilize tools like RSS, Table of Contents, and search feeds to learn about new resources and literature in your field
- Request items that are not available online from NYUNY (delivery and scanning options are available)
