Ignatius Tan uses an experiential approach to the courses he teaches. The flexible approach does not have the fixed method of delivery but focuses on the student’s strengths to enhance their learning experience. He serves as the Director of the Imaging Facility at NYU’s Biology Department and has a research interest in cell-to-cell communication.
