Biography

Gail Segal is a writer and filmmaker. Her experience includes producing credit on the Peabody Award winning film, Arguing the World, and the 15-part television series, The Shakespeare Hour, hosted by Walter Matthau. She is currently developing a narrative feature project set in America’s deep south. Her recent film, Soapy, a documentary portrait made while researching the feature, aired on the PBS series, “Southern Lens.” In New York, her teaching focuses on film style, narrative structure and genre.
